Christmas-Eve Menu

This is my favourite event of the year! I am given free range to go full-throttle in the kitchen. The dishes are extravagant, and the settings are sumptuous. I'll list the menu then let the pictures do the talking. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my CwC readers :)



Hors D'oeuvres ~
Gravlax - Cured salmon in vodka, salt, capers and dill on a rye toastie with mustard cream
Pulled Pork Sliders - Braised and shredded pork in a homemade BBQ sauce on white toast with homemade coleslaw w/ fresh mayonnaise
Cheese Platter - Fresh Ontario cheeses and assorted Crackers

Main ~
Pear and Sweet Potato Soup
Special Meatballs
Salad brought by my Aunt :)
Lucy Waverman's 3-day Brisket*
Cannelloni made with fresh pasta and homegrown tomato sauce
Roast Potatoes
Roast Brussels Sprouts and Broccoli
